With over 20 years of experience, our certified PBMC technicians are trained in multiple isolation methods including direct overlay and Cellular Preparation Tube (CPT) applications. Our extraordinary knowledge and expertise allow us to process a large volume of samples both accurately and efficiently. Our PBMC staff stay up to date on all sponsor-specific certifications and protocols to maintain the highest levels of processing proficiency. We are proud to consistently exceed industry standards for high yields and excellent viability. As samples are time-sensitive and temperature-sensitive, our experts work closely with sites and couriers to ensure samples arrive safely and are processed immediately. All technicians are International Air Transport Association (IATA) certified and experienced in shipping with dry ice or dry shippers. International shipping is also available.
Leading-Edge Technology
The PBMC Lab at JCCT has the latest and most innovative laboratory equipment dedicated specifically to CMI sample processing. In addition to several ultra-low temperature freezers and centrifuges with varying capabilities and capacities, we also have multiple new biological safety cabinets (BSC Class II hoods) and liquid nitrogen storage units. PBMC counts are completed with an automated cell counter (Cellometer K2) incorporating dual fluorescent dyes – manual counts also available. All equipment is carefully monitored, has dedicated power backup, and is annually calibrated.
