Participants

Participants, those participating or having a wish to participate in our studies, should be aware that in registering with us and as part of that registration process, certain Personal Data is collected, including some Sensitive Personal Data. This data is collected entirely with your consent through your providing this data directly.

Purpose of collecting and processing personal data

Johnson County Clin-Trials uses data collected purely for determining eligibility for studies the Participant may wish to participate in and for customizing the display of studies for the participant. The Personal Data of our participants becomes part of the record of the study even if the participant does not pass the screening process or otherwise drops out of the study.

Sharing personal data

We do not share your Personal Data except with business affiliates participating in the running of the study, or as pseudonymized data as part of the study record and as required by regulations.

Children

Johnson County Clin-Trials does not knowingly collect personal information from minors on our digital platforms. If we become aware that a minor is attempting to submit personal information on our digital platforms, we will remove this information from our records. We will only collect information from minors who are participants of our studies with a parent/legal guardian present for the collection of the data during the signing of the IFC. If you feel that your child’s data has been collected by us without your consent, please contact us immediately so we can remove it for our records.

Retaining and Deleting Information

Johnson County Clin-Trials will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. In accordance with regulations, if you have been screened for, or participated in, a study then your data may not be deleted and must be kept on file. If you have applied to participate in a study and then requested that your data be deleted, even if you have not participated nor been screened for a study as noted above, we will delete your information from our records immediately. Website data and collected information, if not currently being used for legitimate business purposes as described and explained in this document, will be deleted as well.

Changes to the Policy

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time and without prior notice. By using our services and Platforms after we post these changes, you are indicating that you accept them.
